Q: What is the turnaround time for the final videos?
A: We typically will have your video finalized and sent to you 10-14 weeks after your wedding. If you want your video sooner, let us know and we can expedite your video for an additional charge. (Please address prior to wedding)
Q: Does JV Studios pick the music to edit the videos to or do we have the option to pick?
A: Nope! Remember, this is your big day! We want you to have complete control of the songs you hear and the way your video is represented. All we ask is that you send us 10 songs you would like to use and we will do our best in selecting what song(s) fit best for your day!
Q: How do you go about capturing the bride and groom prep?
A: In every package you will have two professional cinematographers. Depending on the locations of where the bridal prep is happening, one person will be with the groom's side, while the other will be with the bride capturing all the important details. If the two locations are close enough, both cinematographers will travel together and capture the prep at two angles!
Q: I know weddings are chaotic and I want the process to go smooth. How does JV Studios handle booking?
A: We first start would like to start with a face to face consultation. It is important for us to meet you first hand to make sure we are both a good fit for each other. Once we decide what videos you would like to add onto your package, a project manager will send over a contract outlining the agreed terms. A 25% downpayment is required at time of signing to lock in the date. Shortly after the down payment is received, you will get an email containing a google form. That form is for you and your fiance to fill out, it will hold all the details for your big day!
Q: How do you capture the audio during the ceremony and reception?
A: Great question! We know it is very important for you to hear your exchange of vows and all your words while at the alter. Prior to the ceremony, we will attach a wireless lavalier microphone to the groom's jacket to ensure the audio is right in the middle of the action. And just as a backup we also run a camera that will pick up the natural sounds of the ceremony.
